Where does the money that orthodontist take from you for your orthodontic treatment go?

I am in the middle of my orthodontic treatment (5 years with braces) I want to know, where is the money that I payed for going toward? (Business fees, more orthodontic equipment, building fees, or what?) I’m curious as to where it goes.

How much does an orthodontist get paid, if he’s a very educated orthadontist and is always booked with clients?
How long does he work; how man hours per day? Answer my question and I’ll really appreciate it. Thank you! -
Can a dentist work without establishing a office first?

My dentist works in a office but he was not the person who established the office. There was another dentist who established the office and he worked his job, THEN my dentist works there.
Is it possible for a dentist who just graduated do that?
